Trail Ride Guidelines

1.
Trail master will be in charge of the trip. He should do everything
possible to make the trip enjoyable and safe for everyone. ABSOLUTELY
NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES WILL BE CONSUMED ON ANY TRAIL RIDE! This
includes lunch break.
2.
Follow all Tread Lightly policies.
3.
When you turn off any trail or road, make sure the vehicle behind you makes
the same turn.
4.
Cut no new trails, follow the marked or established path and follow the
vehicle in front of you.
5.
Keep an eye on your own children at all times. Accidents can and do
happen.
6.
If you leave the caravan at any point, make sure you check out with the Trail
master.
7.
If you drive on the highway, leave enough distance between vehicles.
8.
No open exhaust will be allowed anywhere. (National Forest & State
Land regulations require baffled mufflers or spark arrestors)
9.
When driving up or down steep grades, leave enough distance between vehicles
to prevent collisions just in case someone stalls
10.
Trash you truck in is yours to truck out. (Don't litter)
11.
Never travel alone, have at least two vehicles for safety sake!!!
12.
No loose equipment. Make sure everything is secure.
13.
Seat belts should be worn at all times, on or off the roads.
14.
Drivers of each vehicle will be responsible for their passengers and their
actions.
15.
Front and rear tow hooks mounted securely with at least grade 5 or better
hardware.
SAFETY
EQUIPMENT REQUIRED - Seat belts, fire extinguisher, first aid kit,
recovery device.
Suggested
additions - shovel, axe, tire pump & patches, C. B. radio, full roll cage,
tool kit.
